About JVL Designs

John Long, principal and founder of JVL Designs, has been working in the home improvement field since 1991. John launched JVL Designs with the goal of offering a full-service design/build consultancy. Working with a team of seasoned, skilled colleagues, he leads each project through every step in its design, development and implementation, from initial concept to finished construction.

John's practice — which is based in Sausalito, just north of the Golden Gate Bridge — extends throughout California and beyond. In addition to Northern California, where much of John's work can be found, he and his team have also developed large-scale landscape design and interior design projects in Arizona, Colorado, Southern California, and Carmel.
